    my ex-wife says she obtained a divorce in Anchorage Alaska, (where she resides), about “30-35 yrs ago. However, she claims that she no longer has any of the paper work, ie; Divorce decree; date; etc.

    Lois, your issue is very common, one that many others have run into trying to get a copy of their Marriage Certificate Record. The easiest way to obtain a copy is to contact the State Department of Health, Vital Records Office, in the state you were married in and they can supply you with an official certified copy of your marriage records for a nominal fee.

    Been trying to obtain copy of my marriage license. Lois Ruth Dube married to Robert Lawrence Moore April 1989 (mothers day weekend). Can’t locate through court website. In order to obtain copy of my birth certificate need a copy of my marriage license. Help
