Utah Federal Courts – Locations, Phone Numbers, Hours
The District court of Utah represents the federal court with the State of Utah under its jurisdiction. The district court is located in Salt Lake City and has an additional courtroom located in Ogden. All Appeals from this court are presented to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the only exceptions are claims against nation’s Government, and cases regarding patent claims. The US Attorney’s Office is responsible for representing criminal and civil litigation in court. The district is allowed only five active judges for the district. The federal districts are allowed to make use of senior judges.
