New Mexico Inmate Finder Information
New Mexico Corrections Department, whose goal is to “commit to the safety and well-being of the people of New Mexico by doing the right thing, always”, has developed an online tool for offender search in New Mexico. Since New Mexico’s constituent services, central office and the record bureau office does not provide any information or status update about the release of inmates, the online tool helps both the general public and the law enforcement agencies to get information about offenders who are in prison, probation and/ or on parole in New Mexico. In order to use the New Mexico inmate finder, click on the link above and enter a first and last name.
In order to locate an inmate in New Mexico, you need to have one or more of the following details:
* First and/ or last name of the offender
* New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) number
* Offender Number
The offender search tool tells you about the current status of an offender, the facility he/ she is currently in, photograph, a list of current and past offenses, the name of probation/ parole officer (if applicable) and his/ her height, weight, hair and eye color, religion, ethnicity and education.
The online New Mexico Inmate Finder is available on the website of New Mexico Corrections Department and is updated every night. Although New Mexico Corrections Department tries to keep its record updated and to provide accurate information about inmates, there are slight chances of inaccuracies due to the movement of offender. Therefore, for verification of information, you need to contact the institution or the Probation and Parole Office.
