Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) Inmate Search is an online tool to locate and get public information about inmates currently serving their sentences in any of the Nevada State Prisons. It does not provide any information regarding offenders, who have recently been arrested, are waiting their trial, sentenced to probation or on parole. To use the Nevada inmate finder just click on the link above and have the full name of the inmate available.
Nevada Inmate Finder requires any of the following details to locate and provide information about an offender who is currently serving his/ her sentence in Nevada:
* First and Last names of the offender or
* His/ her offender ID
The information provided by Nevada Department of Corrections about inmates is according to their raw data and they do not guarantee its accuracy. Therefore, it is not advised that the information be used as official record by anyone.
Nevada Inmate Finder provides information about the ethnicity, current location, custody level and prior felonies of an offender. It also tells about the offender’s current age, his/ her height, weight, complexion, hair and eye color, build and date and location of parole hearing (if applicable).
If you need more information about an offender, you need to call the particular institution where the offender is currently located. But, if you do not know about an inmate’s current location and/ or status, you need to contact the Department of Corrections’ Family and Community Services division for any information about an offender. Family services division can be contacted at (775) 887 – 3367 between 7:30 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
