The Wyoming Department of Transportation maintains the driving record of every Wyoming resident with a driver’s license. The driving record maintained by the Wyoming DOT includes your driving history such as:

- Previous traffic violations
- Demerit points
- Your driver’s license status and application date
- Car accidents
- Suspensions or revocations
- DUI reports
People other than you can request and view your Wyoming driving record include:
- Courts
- Government agencies
- Employers
- Insurance companies
- Individuals with permission from you
You can make Wyoming Driving Records Request for two different types of driving records including:
3-year record:
Your 3-year driving record includes a record of your three-year driving history such as:
- Traffic accidents
- Suspensions
- Traffic violations
- Car insurance law violations
5-year driving record:
Your 5-year driving record includes a record of your five-year driving history such as:
- Any felony caused by driving
- Reckless driving
- DUI report
- Transportation of alcohol to minors
- Judgments relating to accidents
There are two different ways of making Wyoming Driving Records Request i.e. in person and by mail. Furthermore, you can obtain a copy of your driving record online through public databases.
In person
You can make an in person request for your Wyoming driving record by:
- Visiting the Wyoming driver examination office
- Submitting copies of your driver’s license or ID
- Paying $5 driving record fee
By mail
To request your Wyoming driving records by mail, you’ll need to:
- Fill out and mail Release for Driving Record & Personal Information form along with a letter containing your full name, DOB and social security or driver’s license number to: Wyoming Department of Transportation
