Oklahoma Driving Records Request Information
Traditionally, the only way to access a Oklahoma driving record request is by paying a visit to an Oklahoma Department of Public Safety Driver License Services (DLS) office. This is often inconvenient and can involve long wait times. Luckily for drivers everywhere, you can now find these records with just the internet and an online database. You have a few different options for finding this information.
DLS Oklahoma Records Request
Your first option is the traditional method of taking a trip to your local Oklahoma driver license. The first step is to visit the Oklahoma DLS website, which we’ve listed above, and heading down to their nearest location. You can either fill out one of the forms they provide at the location or you can print out the form and fill it out beforehand to save time. You will then have to wait in line and present your ID along with a form of payment, and they will print the records for you. You will have to fill out a separate form for each Oklahoma driving records request. There is also the option of requesting a copy of your records through the mail, which will probably take a week or two.
Online Oklahoma Driving Records Request
Your second option is to access Oklahoma driving records through an online public records database. All you need to get started is an internet connection and a computer. The search requires that you enter a first and last name and a state. Because the Freedom of Information Act of 1966 (FOIA) makes these records available as public and legal information, you can search for multiple records without concern. If you’re searching under a more common name, you can limit the search results by age or address to ensure that you’re getting the right records.
Placing an online Oklahoma driving records request with a public database is fantastic for quick and easy verification, but you will need a copy issued by a Department of Public Safety DLS office for any official use. Find our list of all available Oklahoma DLS offices.

I am requesting the vin number for a 1978 78 foot 5th wheel Hylander camper trailer owned by my father, who is now deceased. He lived in Oklahoma and was residing in Ten Killer, I believe, at the time of purchase. Or in Anchorage, Alaska. The trailer was stolen so I need the vin number from the title since Oklahomadoes not require trailers to have plates.
Hello Donna,
We can assist you with an Oklahoma vehicle records search by VIN number or license plate number however we cannot lookup vehicle records by name. I would contact both the Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Department and the Anchorage Motor Vehicle Department. I have included links for you below. Please reach out if you have any additional Oklahoma driving record questions.

I have an Oklahoma driver license number and name. How do I obtain the individual’ address?
That is not a resource that we offer. You will want to contact Oklahoma Department of Public Safety as they are the managing agency for the issuance and revocation of Oklahoma driver’s license.
