By searching online databases you will be able to view driving records from the convenience of your home. You will need a first and last name and state to search driving records. Additionally you’ll be able to perform multiple searches without the hassle of going to the DMV. This is all legal and public information that is available via the Freedom of Information Act of 1966 ( FIOA ). One important note of searching for driving records online is that many people have the same first and last name. So in order verify you’ve found the correct driving record, use the person’s age or address.
California driving records are public information that anyone can access. If you obtain a copy online then it is typically for verification purposes only.
